No significant change. Logistics workers are considered as Essential workers and ports are operating.
South America
No significant change. Lacking workforce at some of the ports causing delays.
Europe
No significant change. Lacking workforce at some of the ports causing delays.
Asia/Oceania
Singapore
No significant change. Lacking workforce leads to 1~2 days delay to dock the ship.
Australia/New Zealand
No significant change. Ports are operating.
China
No significant change.
South Korea
Still over the capacity.
Thai
Delay in picking up. Possible to be over the capacity at the yard.
Philippine
Found staff infected by coronavirus at North Manila custom, and the custom closed.
All the cargos are transferred to South Manila custom.
Still lacking in workforce causing delays at ports.
India
Lacking in workforce and less effective land transport causing delays at terminals.
Africa
South Africa
The country locked down.
The ports are operating, but less effective.

North America
United States
- Automobile factory stop the operation → the shipment schedule from Japan can be cancelled
Washington state
- Shipment from China need to spend 14 days after departure to enter ports (14 days rule)
California and other states
- The curfew was imposed. Nevertheless, the workers at ports considered as “essential worker”, so less risk of delay.
Canada
- No regulation so far.
South America
- There are some regulations, but not applicable to the logistics.
Algentine
- The number of workers are limited.
Brazil
- There was a news about the suspension of ports at Santos, but it was a fake news.
Europe
- Automobile factory stop the operation → the shipment schedule from Japan can be cancelled
- Some countries shut down the country borders and imposing the curfew, but the logistics are not applicable.
- Some of the truck drivers went back to home countries, so it affects the land transport.
- Limiting the working hours and number of workers at ports in each countries. Especially in Rotterdam/La Havre/Antwerp/London Gateway, the workers are lacking and likely to be delayed.
Italy
- The number of workers are limited in Genoa VTE, so likely to be delayed.
- It might be in the same situation soon in the other ports in Italy.
Asia/Oceania
Australia
- 14 rules applied to the shipment from China/ Iran/Korea/Italy.
Brisbane
- 14 rules applied to all the shipment.
Singapore
- As Malaysia block the country border, there is a serious lack of workers at the ports. Likely to be delayed.
Philippine
- Luzon is blocked, and imposing the curfew and all the public transport suspended. Manila port is operated, but likely to be delayed.
China
Shanghai
- Needs of reefer plugs at ports are over the capacity. Some reefer containers unloaded at Busan ports to use reefer plugs.
Tianjin
- Needs of reefer plugs at ports are over the capacity. Some reefer containers unloaded at Busan ports to use reefer plugs.
- The shipment from High risk areas*(please refer to below) cannot enter the ports at night time.
Yantian/Shekou
- The shipment need to be inspected by Health authority to enter the ports.
High Risk Area* : South Korea /Japan / Iran / United States / Italy / France / Germany / Spain / England / Switzerland / Netherland / Belgium / Sweden / Norway / Denmark / Austria / Malaysia / Greece / Czech Republic / Finland / Canada / Saudi Arabia / Qatar
