Total exported volume and value September 2020

The total export volume and value amount both increased steeply in September to about 2,345,000L and 2,440,000,000 JPY.

Comparing to the data in August, the value amount increased more steeply than the volume. It seems more Sake like Daiginjo exported to the world.

Exported volume by area September 2020

By looking at the volume of Sake exported, it increased in most of the area in major scope. Nevertheless, the increasing pace in Asia and America is outstanding.

The result shows the recovery of the lost from covid issue. Hope it continues towards Christmas and Valentines and so on.

Exported amount by area and its ratio September 2020

It is increasing in America, but comparing to the last year it is not at the level of the last year even now. It can be said to Eastern Europe as well.

In the area like Asia, especially  East and South, and Europe except East are increased more than the level of the last year.

Average FOB price September 2020

FOB increased to rapidly to more than 1,000JPY / L. As the exported volume is also at the highest level, it shows a good result even in covid situation.

Comparing to the last 2~3 years, the FOB level has been so much increased and we can see how Japanese Sake started to be accepted by people in the World!

Exchange rate November 2020

USD keeps decreasing the rate against JPY. Comparing USD and EUR, EUR is getting stronger but still fluctuating over the months.
